Q. How far are you from the airport? 
A. The Ballantyne Hotel & Lodge is approximately 18 miles South-East of Charlotte-Douglas International Airport; travel time varies by time of day ranging from 30 minutes light traffic to 45 minutes during peak rush-hour and can be higher pending unforeseen construction or accidents.

Q. Do you have a shuttle from the airport?
A.  The Ballantyne Hotel & Lodge does not have an airport shuttle but will be happy to recommend transportation options available to you.  Please contact our Concierge for recommendations 704-248-4055.

Q.  Do you charge for parking?
A.  Complimentary valet and self parking are available daily

Q. Are there any retail stores or other shopping options at the hotel?

A. The Spa has a Spa Product Shop/Gift Shop and The Golf Club has a Golf Pro-Shop featuring ladies and menus apparel and accessories.

Q. How far are you from downtown Charlotte?
A. The Ballantyne Hotel & Lodge is 18 miles south of downtown Charlotte, where the arena, stadium, Charlotte Convention Center, Discovery Place, Blumenthal Performing Arts Center, Mint Museum of Craft + Design, Museum of the New South, ImaginOn,  and additional downtown entertainment and nightlife venues are. Travel time varies by time of day ranging from 20-30 minutes light traffic to 45 minutes during peak rush-hour.

Q. How far are you from SouthPark Mall? 
A. The Ballantyne Hotel & Lodge is approximately 8.5 miles south of SouthPark Mall home to Nordstrom’s, Tiffany’s, Louis Vuitton, Cheesecake Factory, Maggiones, McCormick & Schmick's and over 150 shopping and dining options within SouthPark Mall.  Phillip’s Place and the Specialty Shops on the Park are all within a half mile of SouthPark mall.  Travel time ranges from 15 to 20 minutes on Johnston/Park Road pending traffic.

Q.  Do you allow pets/animals?
A.  Pets/Animals are not permitted at The Ballantyne Hotel & Lodge.  Seeing-eye and assistance dogs are allowed, please inform us in advance 704-248-4055.

Q.  Do you charge for the use of the business center?
A.  Usage of the business center is complimentary. 

Q.  Do you offer wireless internet access?
A.  Guest Rooms and public areas have wireless internet access at a daily fee.  Meeting facilities have wireless internet access and a daily fee is charged per access.

Q.  Do you have baby-sitting services available?
A.  The Ballantyne Hotel & Lodge does not offer baby-sitting service, however our concierge can help you locate a local service.  Please contact the Concierge at 704-248-4055.

Q.  Do you have honeymoon Suites?
A.  The Ballantyne Hotel & Lodge has Parlor Suites and Presidential Suites but does not have a designated honeymoon suite.  You can contact our reservation department to request rates and availability on the Parlor and Presidential Suites at 888-627-8048.

Q.  Do your rooms with Jacuzzis/Jetted-baths?
A.  The only guest rooms that have jetted-baths are the Lodge guest rooms.  The Ballantyne Hotel rooms have large oval soaking baths but do not have jets in any guest room or suite.  The Lodge is available for group blocks only, to inquire about the Lodge, please call 704-248-4070.
