Spa Dining

A specialty spa menu with healthy options, salad, wraps and snacks is available in the spa dining room and can be reserved when checking into The Spa. A 45-minute advance notice is recommended.

Group Refreshers

Rejuvenate an outing with friends  with a selection of calming offerings such as chair massages or mini-relaxation sessions.  Please contact the Group Coordinator at (704) 248-4118 for details.

Facility Access and Enjoyment

Spa facilities covered by this policy include use of the Indoor Pools, *Seasonal Outdoor Pool, Resistance Pools, Whirlpool, Sauna, Fitness Center, Fitness Center Locker Room, Spa Locker Room Facilities.

  • Day Spa (Non-Hotel Guest): Enjoy facility access with a service or retail purchase of $50 or more Monday – Thursday  and with any service or retail purchase of $100 or more Friday and Sundays.
  • The seasonal outdoor pool is accessible to spa guests Monday-Friday 9am-8pm and Sundays beginning at noon with any service or retail purchase of $50 or more Monday-Thursday and $100 or more Friday and Sunday.  Please note that day spa guests are unable to access the outdoor pool on summer holidays May 28, July 4 and September 4.  Day spa guests can access the outdoor pool with the purchase of a cabana on Saturdays; please inquire about pricing.

What is the age requirement to enjoy spa services?

Spa guests must be 16 years or older for spa facial and massage services. Salon guests must be 12 years or older for salon services. Family days are Monday – Wednesday and offer spa facial and massage services to guests 12 years or older and salon services to guests who are age 6 and older. No one below the age of 12 is allowed in the Men’s and Ladies locker rooms and no one below the age of 6 is allowed in the Salon.  Out of respect for all spa and salon guests, please do not bring children with you during appointments.

How early should I arrive for my treatment?

Please arrive 30 minutes or more prior to your scheduled treatment time to allow time to prepare for your appointment and enjoy complimentary access to our Spa facilities. This includes usage of the locker room, relaxation lounge, steam, sauna, indoor pools and seasonal outdoor pool.

What is The Spa at Ballantyne’s cancellation policy?

Please let us know at least 24 hours in advance for any changes or cancellations to avoid being charged in full. Spa packages require a 48 hour-notice for cancellation. You will be charged the full cost for any late cancellation or no-show appointments. Wedding group spa services are finalized two weeks prior to scheduled appointments.

What if I am running late?

As a courtesy to our guests, all appointments begin and end on time and arriving late will result in an abbreviation of your service time.

Are tax and gratuity included in the price of my service?

Tax and gratuity are not included in our pricing. To provide a seamless spa experience for our guests, a 20% service charge will be added to all services and packages. Gratuity will be distributed to your providers.

Where can I store my personal belongings?

The Spa will provide a private locker to store your possessions. We request that you leave your valuables at home or in your hotel room safe. The Spa is not responsible for broken, lost or stolen items.

Do I have to disrobe entirely for my spa treatments?

Upon check-in, you will be given a robe and slippers to wear during your visit. Our therapists are trained to drape you discreetly and to respect your privacy at all times, only exposing the portion of your body that is being treated. Please feel free to undress to your comfort level.

May I use my cell phone during my visit?

In order to maintain a soothing environment, we kindly ask that you please refrain from using any electronic devices within The Spa’s premises.

What if I have special health conditions?

Please advise our staff of any special requests or medical conditions. If you have any concerns, we recommend that you check with your physician before your visit. Your safety and comfort are our top priorities. A provider may recommend modifying your scheduled service to make it safer for you.

Do you offer spa treatments for groups?

Our Group Spa Coordinator can assist you with customizing a variety of programs. From hosting spa parties to providing wellness seminars, The Spa can help plan a memorable event.

Do I need a credit card to guarantee my spa appointment?

Yes, a credit card is required at the time of booking.
