Strength and Conditioning
Join us every Monday and Wednesday morning at 7 a.m. to test your limits with our high interval training. Located on the South Lawn, weather permitting.
Take in the beautiful Ballantyne morning view every Tuesday and Thursday at 7 a.m. and Saturday at 8 a.m. with our Sunrise Yoga. All skill levels are welcome. Located on the South Lawn, weather permitting.
Start your Friday morning out right with our Water Aerobics class in the indoor pool at 7 a.m.

Personal Training & Yoga
Professional personal trainers are available to help you achieve your fitness and wellness goals. Specialties include weight loss, full body conditioning, strength training, core strength, yoga, golf fitness, injury recovery, post-surgery rehab, endurance, agility, sport performance training and pre/post-natal fitness. Pricing varies by trainer. Individual and group training packages are available.
The fitness center offers an extensive selection of cardio and strength training equipment including treadmills, total body Trainers, bikes and more. The fitness center also has a 60-pound PowerBlock dumbbell set, two adjustable workout benches, workout mats, yoga mats, stretching table, balls, band, tubes and accessories.
For outdoor workouts and yoga, enjoy the north lawn adjacent to the outdoor pool or tree lawn adjacent to the tennis courts near the walking path. Additional outdoor spaces away from private events are also available.

Meet Our Team
Lauren focuses on functional training by fusing traditional strength training, yoga and Pilates to build a strong and balanced body. In a session with Lauren, you can expect a fun mix of core strengthening exercises, muscle activation exercises and balance work along with strength and cardio all tailored to your fitness level and to achieve your health and fitness goals. Additionally, Lauren helps her clients to make a true “lifestyle change” with nutritional coaching and encouragement to make the right choices outside of the gym for long lasting results!
Nick‘s love of sports and passion to compete became the foundation for his commitment to active living and fitness. This focus was reinforced during Nick’s Navy experience as he participated in competitive boxing and became a “Physical Readiness Instructor.” Nick is a certified NASM personal trainer and has continued to learn many differently training modalities, including corrective exercise and working with athletes. Nick’s passion, work ethic and creativeness are only matched by his desire to make an impact on the lives of his clients and help them attain their fitness goals. Originally from Syracuse, New York, Nick moved to Charlotte after completing his 4-year active enlistment and attended UNC Charlotte.
Kathryn focuses on full body conditioning with an emphasis on core training to set the client up for success. She emphasizes the importance of a good attitude, dedication, having fun and challenging without injuring as fundamentals for achieving results. Kathryn is an Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA) certified personal trainer and group exercise instructor, as well as certified by NASM. She is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) from Yoga Alliance. In addition to training client, she teaches group exercise classes and holds certifications in specialized areas such as TRX, Yoga, Pilates, Athletic Conditioning, Spartan coaching, metabolic testing, water aerobics and more. Born in New York and raised in Miami, Kathryn was a competitive gymnast and attended college on a softball scholarship. She has been a featured performer on a series of ESPN2 Crunch Fitness videos.
Golf and fitness drive Margo in her personal training, and rotational power development for performance in a striking (golf, tennis, hockey, baseball, etc.) or throwing sport (shot put, bowling, javelin, etc.) is the key to exercise for a purpose. Margo helps her clients train smart for safety and injury prevention. She advocates a systematic approach to fitness building from improving mobility and stability, to endurance, then to speed and power development. Margo’s training philosophy is based in Functional Movement and the Titleist Performance Institute. She is certified with both organizations and aligned with American Council on Exercise as a 26-year-veteran of group exercise and 13 years as a personal trainer.
Passionate about making a difference in people’s health and quality of life, Beth started a career in fitness ten years ago after a successful career in banking. With extensive experience training clients of all ages and fitness levels, Beth has taken a special interest in working with teens. Sample workouts with Beth could include strength training, cardio-strength training, endurance training, athletic conditioning, circuits, complexes, metabolic conditioning, body weight training, balance and functional movement, core stabilization and activation, building strength for performance, or building stamina, balance and flexibility for everyday life. In addition to one-on-one personal training, Beth also specializes in small group private training. Beth received her certification through AFAA and additional training through ACE, as well as Practical Pilates, TRX and Strength and Conditioning certifications. She is CPR and Basic First Aid certified through ASHI.
