Spa Information
The Spa at Ballantyne is open daily to the public and overnight guests. Spa and Salon guests receive complimentary access to the outdoor pool, indoor pools and fitness center. The outdoor pool is open May - September.
Reservations
Please call 704-248-4141 to reserve your spa treatment.
Our spa services are very popular and we recommend that spa appointments be made as far in advance as possible in order to ensure time and technician availability. Please make your requests for male or female therapists and specific service providers at the time of the reservation. All spa services must be secured with a credit card. SPAFINDER certificates are accepted Monday - Thursdays.
A doctor’s clearance note or call is required in advance if you have current or past heart conditions, stroke, recent surgeries or any other medical conditions that could adversely affect your health or service. If clearance is not received in advance, services and treatments may be declined.

Facilities
The Spa facilities include: men’s and women’s locker rooms, steam, sauna, relaxation lounge, refreshment table and complimentary use of a spa robe and sandals for those having spa services (not provided for salon services). Please feel free to use the indoor pools, outdoor pool and exercise room free of charge.
Hotel Guests without any spa appointments: $15 to use the spa facilities based on occupancy levels and availability.

Ballantyne Hotel is not responsible for lost or stolen items, we therefore recommend that you do not keep personal items unattended

Your spa time is held exclusively for you and your service provider. For this reason, we must enforce a 24-hour cancellation policy for all a la carte treatments and 48 hours for packages. Failure to cancel appointments will result in being charged in full. For cancellations made after the specified cancellation time, a same day cancellation or rescheduling fee will apply. Cancellation fee of 50% per appointment applies or a $20 rescheduling fee if rebooked.
Service Charge
Our goal is to ensure that we fulfill your every wish and request for a comfortable and satisfying experience. For your convenience, a 20% service charge will be added to all a la carte spa and salon services to be distributed among the staff that services you.
Our Guests
The Spa at Ballantyne is an adult enclave, therefore, guests 16 and 17 years of age must have a guardian fill out a consent form at the time of treatment. All other guests 18 years of age or older may enjoy any of our spa services. Children are not permitted to accompany adults who are here receiving services with the exception of our Family Days.
Arrive in Advance
To allow time to change and prepare for your appointment, please arrive 30 minutes prior to your service to start your relaxation process with our Ballantyne Ritual. As a courtesy to our guests, all appointments begin and end on time. Unfortunately, late arrivals will not receive an extension of treatment time and will be charged full treatment price.
For Your Comfort
Robes, sandals, a private locker and a complete array of toiletries are provided for use during spa treatments. The Spa is a smoke free and cellular phone free facility. To ensure the enjoyment of all of our guests, you will be required to turn off your cellular phone upon arrival and leave it off for the duration of your visit. The Spa reserves the right to refuse service to those who choose not to comply.
For Your Privacy
Our therapists are trained to drape you discreetly and professionally and to respect your privacy at all times, therefore only the portion of your body that is being treated will be exposed. While it is customary for guests to completely disrobe for spa services, you should undress to your comfort level and may keep your undergarments on if you prefer.
Personal Possessions
Although a locker will be provided for your use, we request that you leave your valuables at home or in your hotel room safe. The Spa at Ballantyne is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
For Your Safety
Please be sure to inform us when making your appointments if you are pregnant, have high blood pressure, heart ailments, cancer or any condition that may be contraindicated for heat therapies, massage or skin care. We highly discourage alcohol consumption prior to, during or immediately following spa treatments. Please avoid immediate sun exposure following skin care treatments.
Spa Outings and Special Events
The Spa can help you host the perfect leisure or corporate event. Spa services make any occasion memorable. Several food and beverage options are available and our Spa Dining Room and Salon Terrace may also be reserved exclusively for luncheons or other small events. Please contact one of our spa coordinators to begin planning.
