Carolina Summer Tea
Celebrate summer in style with a special version of The Ballantyne Hotel & Lodge’s popular traditional afternoon tea in its Main Lobby from Thursday, June 20 through Saturday, June 22, 1pm – 5pm. Enjoy a flavorful menu of savory tea sandwiches and summertime-inspired pastries accompanied by a variety of loose leaf tea from Harney & Sons Teas. Décor will incorporate seasonal accents, including white linens adorned with lace and special china. The cost is $32 for adults and $16 for children, ages 4 to 12 (plus tax & gratuity). Tommy Bahama Party to Benefit JDRF
Take a vacation to the Outdoor Pool at The Ballantyne Hotel & Lodge on Friday, May 24, 6pm – 9pm, with a summer fashion show from Tommy Bahama, live entertainment, Smirnoff-based cocktail specials, seasonal a la carte menu by Gallery Restaurant, raffle prizes and more. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Charlotte Chapter of Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF), dedicated to finding a cure for diabetes and its complications through the support of research. Come mingle with guests and members of the community, and kick off the weekend in style!

Cigar Dave Live Radio Broadcast
On Saturday, June 1, noon – 2pm, nationally syndicated radio host Cigar Dave will broadcast outside at the Golf Pavilion at The Golf Club at Ballantyne as he celebrates 15 years broadcasting in Charlotte. The event is a WBT radio presentation, sponsored by Tinder Box. Open to the public, the event will feature a special a la carte menu as well as a selection of beers and cocktails. The Golf Club at Ballantyne Participates in Patriot Golf Day
From Friday, August 30 through Tuesday, September 3, The Golf Club at Ballantyne will accept donations to benefit Folds of Honor, an organization that provides post-secondary education for children and spouses of military men and women killed or disabled while serving and protecting our country.

• For a donation of at least $5, receive a complimentary bucket of range balls.
• For a donation of at least $35, receive a complimentary weekday round of golf to be used Monday – Thursday (excluding Holidays).
• For a donation of at least $50, receive a complimentary weekend round of golf to be used on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, or Holidays.
• For a donation of at least $40, receive a complimentary range card.
